A new version of ThermoGIS is now online! Developed by TNO’s Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN), ThermoGIS maps the regional potential of geothermal energy in the Netherlands.

ThermoGIS shows the geothermal energy potential maps of the Dutch subsurface. In the latest version, the maps have been recalculated with updated data. This has been done based on new borehole and seismic interpretations and using more advanced calculation methods, among other things. It is also now easier to view borehole data via the Mapviewer.
