The latest annual report ‘Natural Resources and Geothermal Energy in the Netherlands’ 2022
is available online!
Like previous years, this annual review reports on all exploration, production and storage activities in the Netherlands (both onshore and offshore) under the Mining Act.

Or are you interested in learning more about subsurface temporary storage (natural gas, oil, nitrogen) and permanent storage (brine and CO2)? Based on the data, received from the operators of licences under the Mining Act, our Advisory Group for Economic Affairs (TNO AGE) compiles the annual report. We do this at the request of and for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
