Call for proposals EPOS-eNLarge open until August 30th 2024
EPOS-eNLarge gives researchers worldwide the opportunity to access earth science facilities and laboratories in the Netherlands free-of-charge. TNO Geological Survey of the Netherlands (TNO-GDN) participates with the Rijswijk Centre for Sustainable Geo-energy (RCSG).
RCSG is a unique open innovation fieldlab for improving geo-energy technologies to accelerate the energy transition, with focus on geothermal energy and subsurface storage of heat, hydrogen and CO2. The facilities are available for full-scale testing and demonstration of new drilling techniques, flow, and materials under high pressure and temperature.
How to apply?
You can apply for access to RCSG by submitting a research proposal of max 2 pages. Application is due on August 30th. Visit EPOS-NL Facilities or contact RCSG directly for more information on projects feasibility.
About EPOS-eNLarge
EPOS-eNLarge is a new Roadmap for Large-Scale Research Infrastructure project by UU, TU Delft, KNMI and TNO-GDN and is funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO). It will provide the missing link needed to apply our understanding of micro-processes in the subsurface at the kilometer-scale. The collaboration aims to provide open access to researchers, offering valuable insights into the earth’s subsurface dynamics, with a particular focus on sustainable and safe usage.
