Thursday 28 March the Water Info Day is being organised by Het Waterschapshuis, Rijkswaterstaat, Informatiehuis Water, STOWA and representatives of companies and knowledge organisations. This year’s theme is ‘Learning to live differently with water’.
Learning to live differently with water
We need to move towards a water-aware society. Climate change is rapidly and dramatically changing water safety, flooding, water availability and water quality. What does this mean for sharing data?
Major challenge for water management is a data system that is reliable, can be shared and supports the decisions to be taken and the realisation of the water tasks. In short: we need to work data-driven, cooperate and apply digital innovations. From the Geological Survey of the Netherlands, we contribute to this with our expertise and products.
The BRO Programme will be present at the Water Info Day and show that high-quality data in the BRO are indispensable in water management, from borehole research and subsurface models to groundwater level dossiers and groundwater use. We will be happy to tell you more about it. Will we see you there?
