Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN) GeoWeek 2023
GeoWeek 2023 will take place form Monday the 8th to Friday the 12th of May 2023. Also in 2023 the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN) will once again take part in this event for schoolchildren.
During GeoWeek, schoolchildren can learn about the fild of geology. Spread throughout the Netherlands, professionals from the soil, water, and geo-information sectors share their expertise and enthusiasm with the younger generation. They do this by giving guest lectures, organising fieldwork, or visiting compagnies.
Several GDN geologists will once again share their love of the subsurface in guest lectures. A compagny visit to GDN in Utrecht is also possible. During this expedition, schoolchildren will experince the wow-factor of the Dutch subsurface.
